ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM:

The One Journey Symposium marks the beginning of a mission designed to bring us together for the common goal of helping those who are working to reduce suffering, improve mental health and recover from addiction. The Symposium will bring together a diverse team of clinicians, advocates, and innovators from around the world to help you learn new methodology, broaden the understanding of some of the causal factors in addition, as well as strengthen the integrity of the tried-and-true evidenced based approaches.
In the past, with the best intentions, many have worked in isolation to make progress in the field of recovery. And, although we may have helped many, there were always those we could not reach, help, or even understand.
To better understand those, we help and even ourselves, the Symposium will bring together a diverse team of clinicians, advocates, and innovators from around the world to help you learn new methodology, broaden the understanding of some of the causal factors in addition, as well as strengthen the integrity of the tried-and-true evidenced based approaches.
To support innovation in the field of recovery, our presenters will offer you modalities and techniques that may be new to many yet are just now being researched and brought into the recovery world expanding our reach and improving outcomes.
We have included presenters who will give you both personal stories and preliminary research to help you understand their approach and to set the foundation for us to continue with their work.
We know that many people around the world will never seek help because they feel shame and embarrassment for what they are going through. In response we’ve invited world-renowned speakers, presenters, and performers, to inspire and share stories to de-stigmatize addiction, and inspire faith, and hope. They will share stories about recovering from addiction, facing their suffering, and discuss how key factors, such as trauma, and family systems can play a part in addiction. They’ll also show how surrender, faith, hope and going for our dreams are key factors of recovery and living a better life.
We also understand the importance of bringing together recovery groups and programs, such as 12 steps, therapy, and other recovery approaches, creating synergy and an opportunity to explore integration of resources.
Our globally recognized experts on trauma, recovery, and change will give presentations on how to implement an integrated approach. They will explain how an integrated approach increases the likelihood of recovery and helps clients move towards their hopes and dreams. Our workshops will give you an opportunity to put the newfound knowledge into action and start applying it at work and in life.
To continue the work and create a system of support, we will have a call to action.
Throughout the year following the One Journey Symposium, we will continue to work together supporting one another. We will come back together in 2023 to share how we have grown over the year, worked with one another, and celebrate the changes we have made together.
You do not want to miss the One Journey Symposium! Together, we can make a difference.
Be part of the solution, be a part of the change, be a part of the One Journey Symposium!
